I always thought our (deceased-- bless her senile soul) dog Shen, being a unique Beagle/Retriever mix, was one of a kind. However, I've spotted a dog in the nearby village of Kilworth that looked a LOT like her! Just a little big longer and not quite as "chubby" (read: obese). Just as friendly too....I wonder if Shen had some long-lost Irish relatives she never mentioned to us....?

Funny, we were just reminiscing about Shen the other day! I think she's cuter than her Irish counterpart!

I didn't think it was possible but she looks to be a bit more intelligent than her Irish cousin.
