Unfortunate

I think my alarm clock died.
I didn't hear it go off today.
In fact, I had exactly 30.0 minutes from the second I woke up, until the time I had to be in class.
I arrived with exactly 2.28 minutes before I would be labelled "Late".
Don't ask me to do the math. All I know is that breakfast was forfeit, as was personal grooming, and I basically flew from my warm snuggly blankets to my cold hard car in less than 3 minutes.
I wasn't even entirely sure that I wasn't still in my pajamas when I got to school.
Which was a little unsettling.

EDIT: the alarm clock wasn't dead. Maybe I was?
